Shunbai Kagon is a hunter of monsters and beasts. If he hears word of a creature in need of slaying, he will be ready to the challenge.From the Kagon belief, to step into the sun is to succumb to the evil of Azim. Being from this tribe and still respecting its customs, Shunbai is used to a nocturnal lifestyle. Although he has traveled from the Steppe across the sea, he still holds onto the Kagon sleep schedule best he can. Sometimes this makes hunting monsters that much easier!Nowadays, he lives mostly in the city of Limsa Lominsa. You may catch him picking up hunts on boards or bargaining for a higher price on a beast he has slain. You might also find him in Thanalan roaming the vast drylands at night. A climate so akin to his home back in the Steppe.How you approach the hunter may determine a few things with your new relationship with him. For some, it might feel like walking on egg shells as his short temper might set things off poorly. But if you happen to share similar interests with him, you might find a loyal friend in him yet. Be careful though, he crushes a little too easily...
LOOKS
At first glance, Shunbai is a terrifying sight. He stands a tall 7 fulms with a broad back and shoulders, and muscular arms. He has incredibly pale skin that is covered with red-tinted ink black scales, shiny and smooth like that of a snake. Short white hair frames his angular face that is shaped with sharp scales and pointed horns. Glowing red irises pierce through black sclera with a pupilless gaze. He has a dangerous maw of fanged canines and a nearly black forked tongue.This Xaela is often seen in black leathers and straps. He has clearly picked up a liking to "leather punk" and "biker" type looks now that he's left the Steppe. However, you may occasionally see him in more traditional Xaelic clothing. He carries around a well-kept but greatly used pair of short swords as well as a couple of carving knives.

Enkh Qestir

From youth, Shunbai knew Enkh as one of the ever silent Qestir that ruled the grounds of trade. They grew close as their tribes interacted quite often. Enkh was one of the Xaela friends that traveled with Shunbai to new lands. These young men are now very close, so close in fact that Shunbai can understand exactly what Enkh is thinking or feeling without the silent one saying a single word.
BITES HIMAA

The half of the Tebis twins that has their teeth in Shunbai- most literally. Shunbai and the twins met early in their years on the fields of the Steppe. Many cooperative and competitive hunts later, Bites and Shunbai have grown attached in the way one would trust another with their life. The Tebis twins were a part of the Xaelic friends that traveled with Shunbai to Eorzea.
SEIRO MALKAVI

Childhood friends who met once more by chance later in life- and across the globe. Seiro was a friend from the Steppe that could keep up with Shunbai's adrenaline seeking ways. Today, it's Shunbai that might need to keep up with Seiro! The two spend most of their time together discussing, planning, and hunting vicious monsters. They can also be caught together in a quiet corner of a bar late into the night.

Sharing a nocturnal schedule, Shunbai and the huntress occasionally take on monsters together. After their first encounter in front of the hunt board in Ul'dah, the two have become strong allies under the moonlight.
Hemlocke Reines

Mostly a seller-customer relationship in which the mysterious Elezen stays his loyal customer. Strangely enough, Hemlocke only purchases Shunbai's stock of monsters' blood, but who is the tradesman to deny a sale.
Miahka Mhori

Whenever Miahka travels to Ul'dah, she usually takes a moment to meet with Shunbai. As the owner of an apothecary, she purchases and trades for various parts of unusual monsters and beasts. The hunter's wares are often a decent selection for the siren to choose from.
Akuma chibana

A new business connection, and she would end it at that. Akuma buys equipment and supplies in the same circles that Shunbai sells in. They have had few friendly interactions, but their relationship stays limited and strict by her demand.

If you're interested in your character becoming a connection, let's discuss their relationship and get to know the characters' dynamics.
No ERP unless I know you. Shunbai is pansexual and polyamorous so he's very open to such things, but playing out sex scenes with strangers makes me generally uncomfortable. Let's chat and plot before we get there.
IC is not OOC. This is common knowledge, but please no mixing up my character's actions and thoughts with my own.
